Keep Right will match a church leader looking for support with another church leader who has experience and skillls in the area needed. We call each person that helps in this way a ministry guide. Keep Right will build a network of ministry guides, some with generalised ministry experience (think local church ministry with experience in a vast amount of ministry and mission) and some with specialised ministry experience (for example, church planting, revitalisation, resourcing church, etc). Being matched with a ministry guide is just a fancy title for having a zoom call with another church leader, probably quite an experienced one, who has been where you are, knows ministry inside out, and over the years has some knowledge to share and wisdom to offer. It's that simple. Each ministry guide will provide bespoke guidance relevant to your context. It's always saturated in prayer, love for God, and with a gospel heart.
The level of support given is up to each church leader looking for support. After an initial consultation on zoom, a bespoke plan can be put together. It might look like a monthly zoom call, or just every six months, or just once a year. Or, the support might be more intensive for a short period of time. Inbetween the zoom consultations there can be follow-up correspondence by email and WhatsApp. Keep Right doesn't exist to replace any denominational training, development, support or supervision. It exists to offer an extra level of support to what is already available, with like-minded church leaders supporting one another, all with the same desire to see the gospel flourish and the kingdom grow. It can be demanding, isolating, and exhausting. Even when it doesn't feel like that, there's always tips to share and skills to sharpen. We don't have to do it alone. Ministry guides can journey with people.
There are a number of areas which the ministry guides focus on, with each ministry guide specialising in different areas. Let's have a look at some of the areas...

ministry conditioning
Think of it as an annual ministry health check and MOT. Who and what is shaping your week? Are the main components of your ministry what you think they should be?

leadership coaching
Exploring styles of leadership. Finding your default style - linked to your personality and skills. Looking at the biblical model of Ephesians 4 as a way to see maximum equipping.

theological tracking
Ever had your car wheels tracked at a garage? They ensure they are in line. Theological tracking is the same. Helping you explore areas of doctrine to study afresh, signposting you to resources old and new.

wellbeing mapping
What does Saturday night feel like and Monday morning feel like? Are your holidays booked for next year? Is your day off protected. Explore ways to keep yourself well, fit, rested, and refueled.

sabbatical
tuning
Sometimes an engine needs tuning. In the same way the body, mind and soul needs rest, and sometimes an extended rest. Sabbaticals are precious opportunities. We encourage you to take one and suggest how best to use one.

peer-to-peer
calibrating
Do you have an idea you want to try out but you're not sure if it will work, what the pitfalls and opportunities are? The ministry guides will link you up with others with similar ideas or experience of treading the ground already. Ordinary church leaders helping one another.

vision
casting
For some church leaders this comes natural, for others it's a skill to learn. For every church leader casting vision is crucial to bringing people with you in sharing the gospel and looking at lost souls through the lens of Father, Son, and Spirit.

strategic
routing
So you have the vision but what next? How does the vision start to change step by step from a far-off vision to a nearby reality? Setting a route map of strategic actions is going to be your way forward.
Being a church leader can be demanding, isolating, and exhausting. Keep Right recognises it is hard to stay in ministry for the long haul without support, guidance, and rest. Keep Right exists to help church leaders, encourage church leaders, and equip church leaders.
